All services are tailored to the specific needs of each manuscript, the service package selected, and the materials, information, and instructions provided by the client at the time of engagement.

Kalculuspen Creative strives to provide professional editorial support that improves clarity, readability, consistency, structure, and overall reader experience while preserving the author’s unique voice and creative vision.

2. Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver the highest quality editorial services and ensure a smooth project experience, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding your manuscript, project goals, and service requirements.
  • Submit all necessary manuscript files, supporting materials, and relevant project details in a timely manner.
  • Review delivered work and respond promptly to requests for feedback, approvals, revisions, or clarification.
  • Maintain open and professional communication throughout the project.
  • Make payments according to the agreed service terms and payment schedule.

Failure to provide required materials, feedback, approvals, or communication within seven (7) business days may result in project delays. Extended periods of inactivity may lead to project suspension or cancellation at Kalculuspen Creative’s discretion. Any applicable refund eligibility will be governed by our Refund Policy.

3. Payment Terms

We accept payments via:

  • Bank Transfer 

  • FIVERR

  • Paystack / Flutterwave (Debit/Credit Cards)

  • USDT / BTC 

  • Stripe/ Budpay / Payoneer (International) (Preferred for speed and security)

All payments must be completed in advance unless otherwise agreed. Project work will only begin after confirmation of payment

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, which includes:

  • Revisions as specified in your selected package

  • Partial or full refund only if we fail to deliver after multiple revision attempts, and you are genuinely dissatisfied with the outcome.

5. Revisions & Delivery

Each package includes a specific number of formatting, design, or layout revisions as stated on our pricing or service description page. Any request that exceeds the included revision limit may require an additional fee.

Standard delivery time for most projects is 3–5 business days, depending on project size and clarity of provided files. More complex manuscripts, custom design requests, or incomplete submissions may require additional time, which will be communicated to you if necessary.

6. Ownership and Usage Rights

The author retains full ownership of all manuscripts, content, ideas, and intellectual property submitted to Kalculuspen Creative for editing or review.

Upon full payment for completed services, all edited manuscripts, editorial feedback, comments, suggestions, and deliverables prepared specifically for your project become available for your personal and commercial use. You remain the sole owner of your work and may publish, distribute, revise, or otherwise use your manuscript as you see fit.

Kalculuspen Creative does not claim ownership of your manuscript, book content, characters, ideas, or creative work.

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Kalculuspen Creative may reference completed projects, client testimonials, or limited non-confidential excerpts as part of our portfolio, marketing materials, or service showcase. We will never publicly share full manuscripts, confidential project materials, or sensitive client information without permission.

7. Third-Party Tools & Services

During the course of providing editing and manuscript review services, Kalculuspen Creative may use or recommend third-party tools and software to support the editorial process, including writing, proofreading, formatting, communication, and project management tools.

These third-party tools and services operate independently and maintain their own policies, procedures, technical requirements, and terms of use.

Kalculuspen Creative is not responsible for software errors, service interruptions, technical issues, policy changes, data loss, or other matters arising from the use of third-party tools or services.

While we take reasonable care in selecting and using professional tools, clients are encouraged to review the applicable terms and privacy policies of any third-party services they choose to use.

8. Disclaimer

While Kalculuspen Creative provides professional editing, proofreading, manuscript review, and editorial support services, we do not guarantee publishing success, reader reviews, commercial performance, or any specific outcomes resulting from the use of our services.

The effectiveness of a manuscript depends on many factors beyond our control, including:

  • The quality and originality of the content
  • The author’s subject matter and target audience
  • Reader preferences and expectations
  • Market conditions and competition
  • Decisions made by publishers, agents, or publishing platforms

Our role is to help improve the clarity, readability, structure, consistency, and overall quality of your manuscript through professional editorial support. Final publishing, marketing, distribution, and commercial outcomes remain the responsibility of the author.

Independent Service Provider

Kalculuspen Creative is an independent editorial services company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any publisher, literary agency, self-publishing platform, or third-party software provider.

Any references to external tools, writing software, or industry resources are provided solely for informational or editorial purposes.

9. Modification of Terms

Kalculuspen Creative reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, legal requirements, or operational needs.
